After the Oscars last night Robert Downey Jr. made an appearance on a special edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and brought with him the latest trailer for Iron Man 2 (after the jump). The first trailer was enough to sell me on Mickey Rourke as Whiplash and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, but this longer version absolutely blew me away and solidified them in their roles to me. The film is also looking to be twice as intense and cool as the first Iron Man.
Along with Rourke and Johansson; Sam Rockwell, Kata Mara, and Garry Shandling join the cast, with Don Cheadle replacing Terrence Howard as War Machine. Gwyneth Paltrow returns as Pepper Potts and actor-director Jon Favreau returns to direct. Taking on the script this time out is actor-writer Justin Theroux.
