Book Meets Film at The Revue Cinema

The Revue Cinema wants to get you reading and watching this summer as they launch a new program called The Book Revue. Hosted by Toronto critic Geoff Pevere, the idea behind this new initiative is to read the novel, watch the film adaptation, and then have an open discussion about both with Pevere as the moderator (there’s also going to be free refreshments served if you need extra convincing).

Kicking off the program on Tuesday, June 22 at 6:45 p.m. is the Coen Bros. Oscar-winning adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s No Country for Old Men. Keep an eye on The Revue’s website (or just subscribe to their email newsletter) to find out about other upcoming screenings in this brilliant series.
