Maple Pictures, the second largest film distributor in Canada, released an iPhone app back in June that allows users to access trailers, upcoming release dates, and information on every movie in Maple's catalogue of flicks. Users can also get location-based show times, purchase Maple films directly from the iTunes store, and connect with Maple's Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages. It's a pretty slick app and the best news is that it's free!
In their press release Joanna Miles, VP of Marketing at Maple said, "We pride ourselves on our ability to communicate directly with our fans and in keeping them up-to-date on all of our films, and this app will enhance the Canadian movie-goers experience."
