Paramount Pictures is at it again with creating buzz around one of their properties using the Eventful Demand It! service. It worked out last year for the studio when a lot of people demanded Paranormal Activity to open in their city and it went on to make just under $200 million worldwide. Whether people want to watch the 32-year-old John Travolta-Olivia Newton-John musical Grease again — in a theatre where the audience sings along — is what Paramount wants to know this summer. And if the Canadian numbers don’t climb we won’t get to see it at all in the Great White North.
According to the Demand It! site the Grease Sing-A-Long has just over 300 votes for Toronto, under 200 votes for Vancouver, and about 150 votes for Montreal, Edmonton, and Calgary each. Every other city across the country has under 100 votes. Help get those numbers up and go vote for your city Canada!
