TIFF 2010 Announces Lineup of Canadian Features

Fubar IIEarlier today the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) announced the lineup of Canadian feature films screening at this year’s festival. Among the selections (full list below) are Jacob Tierney’s Good Neighbours, Xavier Dolan’s Les amours imaginaires (Heartbeats), Ingrid Veninger’s MODRA, and Bruce McDonald’s Trigger, which is also going to be the first film to screen at the new home of TIFF, the Bell Lightbox.

This year the festival is also offering a new ticket package that will allow the audience to screen five Canadian films selected by TIFF Programmers for $80. This is a great initiative that should open up our wonderful cinematic offerings to an entire new audience.

TIFF 2010 runs from September 9 to 19. For full descriptions of the films, and to purchase tickets, visit tiff.net/thefestival.
