In anticipation of the DVD and Blu-ray release of Lars von Trier’s controversial film Antichrist on Tuesday, November 9, eOne Films has sent us one of the special video features included on the release to share with our readers.
Titled The Visual Style of Antichrist, the feature looks at how Von Trier and his team (including director of photography Anthony Dod Mantle and visual effects supervisor Peter Hjorth) came up with the look and feel of Antichrist and why certain things were important to the symbolism of the story.
Antichrist stars Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg as a grieving couple who go to their cabin in the woods where things turn evil.
