Don’t feel like dressing like a gnome or seeing some Tim Burton films at the Bell Lightbox on Family Day? Then why not drop-in to the NFB Mediatheque for some FREE (and fun) family activities.

Running between 9 a.m and 5 p.m on February 21, the NFB will offer a classical animation workshop for children ages 6 – 13 (advance registration required by calling 416-973-3012), screenings of family-friendly NFB classics like The Cat Came Back, a digital scavenger hunt with prizes up for grabs, and every hour until 4 p.m. you can join one of their pixillation workshops (all ages, no registration required).

The NFB Mediatheque is located at 150 John St. For more information on their planned Family Day events, visit NFB.ca/mediatheque.
