I’m one of the few people who has enjoyed the Transformers movies. I grew up with the cartoon and thought that Michael Bay did a decent job bringing these “robots in disguise” to life on the big screen. And that’s why I’m sad the first real trailer for the third part in the series, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, has left me underwhelmed. Maybe they are taking the film in a more serious direction, which could work, but I still want to see giant robots destroying each other. I’m sure I’ll get what I want once the film is released, but right now I’m not excited to see it (and you know, that’s a what a trailer is supposed to do). Watch it below and let us know your thoughts — do you care for the Transformers movies? Think Dark of the Moon will be better than the previous ones?
About Transformers: Dark of the Moon:
The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and learn its secrets, which could turn the tide in the Transformers’ final battle.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon is in theatres July 1, 2011.
