Ever wondered what it would be like if you tried to cross Holmes on Homes with Ghost Hunters?
Those few who’ve ever asked themselves that question may get their answer, as the Investigation Discovery (ID) Channel along with Big Coat Productions begin filming a new Canadian series called Paranormal Home Inspection, to air beginning August 16, 2011.
Producers Catherine Fogarty and Maria Armstrong are promising a show which will bring in the seasoned opinion of both certified home inspector Brian Daley as well as that of psychic Nadia Mercy and paranormal researcher Michelle McKay, as they visit houses which are reported to be “haunted”. Faucets turning on their own, appliances acting funny, doors slamming and locking, all occurrences to be investigated by the inquisitive trio.
Who will the home owners believe in the end? Will they accept the empirical evidence provided by the home inspector, or will they run for the hills should a ghostly presence already inhabit the structure? This is what the show runners hope to offer as the series starts filming this month. The show will be mainly filmed in Ontario, and episodes will be produced until July.
