BestBuy.ca now sells used video games

Best Buy logoAttention gamers! Big box electronics retailer Best Buy has taken their used video game program online, and gamers across the country can score some great deals on games for most major consoles.

“Some of our customers tell us they want the newest games the moment they’re available, but will quickly move on to the next big thing. Others tell us they’re willing to wait but love playing games again and again,” said Aliya Kara, Director of Marketing Best Buy Canada in a press release sent out.

The Played it? Trade it! program offers previously played games for as low as $4.99 CDN. Best Buy states that all games are “thoroughly inspected for quality assurance” and offers a 30-day money back guarantee.

The selection we saw looked decent, and the shipping prices seemed reasonable (you can also select to pick your purchase up at your local Best Buy store). For those wanting to trade in old games, you will still need to venture into a participating Best Buy location to do so.
