Paramount sent over this new image of the Decepticon Shockwave from Transformers: Dark of the Moon earlier today (see above). While the image is cool and all, the “Wing Man” video featurette they also sent is just nuts.
These “wing men” jump off cliffs wearing suits that let them fly like birds. Director Michael Bay saw them on 60 Minutes and thought it would be a good idea to use them in the movie, only jumping off skyscrapers in downtown Chicago instead of cliffs. These guys are crazy, and watching them in the featurette gave me chills. I can only imagine how this is going to look on a giant IMAX screen in 3-D.
