From the Sky Down, Davis Guggenheim’s documentary about the making of U2’s 1991 album Achtung Baby, kicks off the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday, September 8 with its gala premiere at Roy Thomson Hall. For fans of the band who cannot attend the screening, TIFF is holding a special on-stage discussion from the Bell Lightbox on Friday, September 9 at 1:30 p.m. ET with Guggenheim and U2 members The Edge and Bono.
The real exciting news is that the discussion will be streamed live online at tiff.net and U2.com, and you can ask them a question by Tweeting it to them before 12 p.m ET on Friday using the hashtag #THESKYDOWN.
