Video Interview: Dee Wallace on her career, life, and more

When I got the invite to interview Dee Wallace the first thing that popped into my head was ‘I get to chat with the mom from E.T.? Awesome!’ Wallace has done much more than the Spielberg blockbuster of course, and has over a hundred TV and film credits under her belt, including genre films Cujo, Critters, The Howling, the highly underrated 1991 chiller Popcorn, and Peter Jackson’s The Frighteners. She’s also an author and radio personality. Needless to say, I was little starstruck when I sat down to speak with the icon, who was in town promoting the excellent zombie period piece Exit Humanity, in which she stars as a witch in.

Besides Exit Humanity, we chatted about some highlights of career, including the movie she hopes to be remembered for, her latest book, Rob Zombie’s Lords of Salem, the one actor she hopes to get to work with still, and much more. Watch our interview below.
