In episode seven of Pan Am it’s all about forbidden romances!
Kate’s in love with Niko who’s a Yugoslavian communist. Since America’s fighting a Cold War anyone whose from a communist country is not the best person to be in a relationship with. At least, Kate seems to think this is an undesirable trait when she’s telling her sister about Niko.
Somehow Laura’s gotten involved with an African American man. How did this happen? But there’s a fight about it.
Some CIA operatives barge into Kate’s apartment and tie up Niko. She tells him to go with them and that “they wanna help” before a bag is put over his head. This is how you convince someone to betray his country to spy for you? I’m not sure this is a good way to go about it. Unless, that wasn’t what they were planning to do. Either way, Kate has some explaining to do.
No mention of what Maggie did or if Ginny and Dean are still carrying on the affair. And Colette is still on the show right? I wonder what she’s been up to?
