Trailer for ‘Titanic 3-D’ released

Poster for 'Titanic 3-D'

Since Avatar came out and amazed the world with its use of 3-D, director James Cameron has been hard at work converting Titanic, his 1997 blockbuster, to 3-D. With it finally done and hitting screens next spring, Paramount has started the hype machine and have released a new trailer for it. Since it’s not in 3-D online it’s really just the same old Titanic (and yes, they’re still using that annoying Celine Dion song). If you’re venturing out to see The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 this weekend you’ll also get to the see the trailer on the big screen (but probably still not in 3-D as Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 is not in 3-D).

Check out the trailer below and let us know your thoughts – are you excited to see Titanic in 3-D?

Titanic 3-D opens April 6, 2012.
