Fans of Reel to Real rejoice! Renowned Canadian film critic Richard Crouse is back hosting a new movie show, this time in the form of a free video Podcast exclusively on iTunes.
Written and executive produced by documentary filmmaker and filmswelike co-founder Ron Mann, This Week on Movies features a “lively mix of reviews, facts and clips” with the pompadoured Crouse giving his view on the latest flicks available on the iTunes store, as well as must-see classics available.
With Crouse’s quick-witted cheeky demeanor, the show, which is the first subscriber-based content in the iTunes movie section, is quickly climbing the charts and putting Crouse out there as one of the leading personalities in the movie-talk game.
“It’s like having someone you know and trust recommend a movie for you, to help you make the right choice for you.” said Mann in a press release sent out.
In the first two episodes released Crouse has dug into movies about apes (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, 12 Monkeys, and Project Nim) and movies with “balls” (Warrior and Rocky Balboa).
