This is a recap of the tenth episode of Pan Am, entitled Secrets and Lies. Spoilers ahead if you have not seen it!

After a month off, Pan Am is back.

It’s been a week since Kate shot someone. She saved her boss, Anderson’s life and now she has to take a polygraph and deny that she didn’t shoot anyone. I don’t know much about polygraphs but I’m sure it’s at least moderately difficult to maintain a steady heart rate without some practice. Kate practiced for 5 minutes before throwing a tantrum. But she passed the test. Now Kate’s free and clear of the CIA. But she quickly changes her mind when Anderson flatters her about keeping her composure in a difficult situation. Oh Kate. Apparently, flattery will get everywhere with you.

Meanwhile, Bridget is back. She’s come for Dean cause she’s still in love with him. Isn’t it presumptuous that you think he’s waited for you? I mean, Dean is a Pan Am pilot. And he’s not bad to look at either. But she never even asks him if he’s found someone else. Of course, Dean resists at first. But eventually he succumbs. Of course, Collette didn’t really help by encouraging Dean to give Bridget a chance to explain. She subsequently tells him to leave and for all intent and purposes, breaks up with him. You ruined it! He went back to Bridget. Collette didn’t even put up a fight. Come on girl! That bitch stole your man. Ok, he was hers first but nevermind, she left him. Go kick some ass and drag Dean back by his hair!

Meanwhile, Maggie is severely disgruntled by Senator Rawlings political views. So much so, she writes an article for the Village Voice and submits it. At the last minute, it’s published. Then she finds out the Senator is also a nice guy. Uh oh. Maggie’s gonna have some explaining to do to her new boy toy.

And Ted’s still dating his childhood crush, Amanda. But he’s frustrated that she won’t give up her V-card. Not until he puts a wedding ring on her finger. I don’t see what the attraction is. Ashley Greene, who plays Amanda, must have angered the hair stylist. That wig she wears is atrocious. It looks like there’s a dead animal at the back of her head about to slide off. Laura advises Ted that he should respect Amanda’s wishes. Which means Teddy’s gonna propose ASAP. Of course, Laura’s shot herself in the foot yet again. She’s got the hots for Ted but won’t admit it to herself. Now she’s forced to go ring shopping for the other woman.

I hope next week both Laura and Collette stop being mopey and go out and get their men!

Pan Am airs on CTV Sunday nights at 10 p.m. ET. Are you fan? Discuss in the comments below.
