To celebrate the DVD/Blu-ray release of the Oscar-winning silent film The Artist this week, Alliance Films is holding a special event in Toronto tonight (June 25) in partnership with fashion store French Connection. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. at the French Connection located at 11 Bloor St. W. where you’ll be able to check out their summer and fall collections, munch on black and white Purdy Chocolates, listen to someone from the Toronto Silent Film Festival discuss the film, get a black and white photo of yourself taken, and get your lips done by a L’Oreal Paris Canada beauty expert. After your done shopping and mingling, the party moves over to the Varsity Cinema for a screening of the film.
