Mac DeMarco and Hooded Fang are just two of the countless highlights at this year’s NXNE, and they’re going to be playing a show together, on a boat (!). Also pumping out waves of music from the otherwise calm waters of Lake Ontario will be ex-Miko Miko sisters Bleached, Toronto punks Teenanger, and spinning plenty of tracks on the ones and twos will be Jonathan Toubin.
This is the second year for the bruise cruise, last year’s event, featuring lo-fi garage-rocker Ty Segall, was a huge success (check Brooklyn Vegan for pics) and this year is shaping up quite nicely.
