The Criticize This! Canada Day mix

Happy Canada Day!

We here at Criticize This! think no party is complete without a good playlist, so here is a Canada Day mix for you to enjoy today.

Each of the songs featured here come from Canadian artists and were released in the past year. This mix starts out west with synthheavy dream-pop from BC’s Grimes, dabbles in the classic sound of Quebec’s Leonard Cohen, heads back west for some rock courtesy Japandroids, before returning to Quebec for some electro via Purity Ring and wrapping it all up back in Toronto with Azari & III.

Enjoy ‘the true north strong and free’ and all the music it has to offer.
