Since we last spoke with producer Zach Green about the bizarre Canadian horror short, Familiar, the film has been making waves on the festival circuit. The latest news is that it is now an official selection at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal. Running July 19 to August 7, Fantasia is one of the world’s top festivals celebrating horror, sci-fi, and fantasy films and for Familiar to be accepted is a huge testament as to how great the film is.
