First image of Daniel Day-Lewis in Steven Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’

Disney has released the first image of Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming film about the sixteenth American president, and if I didn’t know any better I’d swear it was the man himself. Check out the image below and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

About Lincoln:

Lincoln focuses on the last four months of the president’s  life and the political strategizing he undertook at the close of the Civil War to ensure that slavery would be forever outlawed. “Our movie is really about a working leader who must make tough decisions and get things done in the face of overwhelming opposition,” Spielberg says.

Lincoln opens in limited release November 9, 2012 with a wider opening on November 16.
