Disney is ramping up their unique marketing efforts for Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie and have released a pair of interactive set tours this morning over at frankenweenie360.com. The first one features producer Allison Abbate and gives an overview of the production while the second one is more technical and features animation director Trey Thomas. A third tour will be released at a later time at appears to feature Burton himself. These are very cool as you can scroll around the set and click on items for more info while the host is still talking. Check them out and let us know your thoughts in the comments. And don’t forget we’re giving away passes to advance screenings of Frankenweenie in select Canadian cities. Visit our contest page for more info.
About Frankenweenie:
From creative genius Tim Burton (Alice in Wonderland, The Nightmare Before Christmas) comes Frankenweenie, a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.
Frankenweenie hits theatres on October 5.
