The summer of 2013 is primed to be a big one for music festivals in Toronto. Just one day after the announcement of the first batch of NXNE ’13 acts and a month after word about Field Trip, more artists have been named to a brand new festival happening in July at Fort York.
Toronto Ubran Roots Festival (or T.U.R.F.) has bolstered its already impressive lineup of Belle & Sebastian, Neko Case, Joel Plaskett, She & Him, Justin Townes Earle and others.
It was announced Wednesday that The Hold Steady, Frank Turner, Lowest of the Low and Skydiggers are also headed Toronto.
