You can watch the Oscars online this year!

Seth MacFarlene Oscars

We complained last year that we could not stream the Oscars live on the Internet and questioned whether we ever would get to the point where we’d be able to. Well, it appears Canadian broadcaster CTV took note and for the first time in the history of the show you’ll indeed be able to watch the broadcast live online at CTV.ca. On top of that, Lainey Gossip and MTV Movie Night’s Matt Wells will be live chatting with viewers online during the broadcast.

For those who care more about who’s there and the what they’re wearing, you’ll also be able to catch CTV’s red carpet coverage with eTalk’s Ben Mulroney and E!’s Leah Miller starting at 6 p.m. ET.

Unfortunately, you still won’t be able to watch the show on the CTV iPhone or iPad app, but you can stream it on the CTV Mobile channel on Bell Mobile TV.

The 2013 Oscars air Sunday, February 24 at 8:30 p.m. ET. For a list of nominees, visit oscar.com.
